The Opera Company of Philadelphia's Opera at the Academy series, featuring Madama Butterfly, Tea: A Mirror of Soul, and La traviata, take place at the historic Academy of Music, located on the southwest corner of Broad and Locust Streets, four blocks south of City Hall.

The Opera at the Perelman series, featuring the Kimmel Center Presents Curtis Opera Theatre's production of Antony & Cleopatra and OCP's Orphée & Eurydice take place at the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts at Broad and Spruce Streets.

Please be sure to leave ample time to account for weather, traffic conditions, and parking when traveling to the Academy of Music or the Kimmel Center. Out of respect for the artists and the patrons already seated, latecomers will be seated only during appropriate breaks in the performance or at the intermission.  Click here to learn more about the latecomer policy.

Driving Directions

From Points North & East
New York, North & East Jersey - Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 4 (route 73). Go 1 mile north on route 73 to route 38 West. Continue on route 38 West to route 30 West, towards the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow signs to I-676 West. Take I- 676 West to Broad Street exit. Proceed south on 15th Street towards Locust Street to enter the vicinity of the Academy of Music and the Kimmel Center.

From North Philadelphia
Take I-95 south to I-676 West. Take I- 676 West to Broad Street exit. Proceed south on 15th Street towards Locust Street to enter the vicinity of the Academy of Music and the Kimmel Center.

From Points West
Take I-76 East towards Philadelphia to I-676 East and exit at Broad Street. Turn right at the exit and proceed south on 15th Street towards Locust Street to enter the vicinity of the Academy of Music and the Kimmel Center.

From Points South
Take I-95 North to the Broad Street exit (# 17) and proceed three miles north on Broad towards City Hall. The Academy of Music is located on the Southwest corner of Broad and Locust streets. The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts is located at the Southwest corner of Broad and Spruce Streets.

Opera Company Subscribers receive a flat rate of $9 when they park at the following Park America locations:
• 251 S. 15th Street (at the Academy House)
• 220 S. 15th Street (at 15th and Chancellor Streets)
• 417 S. Broad Street (between Lombard & Pine Streets)
