Hip H'Opera Encore Performance!

Hip H’Opera, an exciting new project by the Opera Company of Philadelphia and north Philadelphia's Art Sanctuary,   
brought together the North Stars and classically trained composers Jay Fluellen, Diane Monroe, Rolando Morales-Matos and Monnette Sudler. These amazing new pieces reflect, not only the raw power of the young poets' eloquent words, but the myriad beats, rhythms and sonorities of the urban experience - all as seen through the classical looking glass.
